Job Purpose:

Design, develop, and implement data solutions and systems, providing support to the organization in utilizing data effectively in daily operations. The role focuses on building high-performing engineering teams and developing advanced data platforms that facilitate secure data acquisition, processing, and sharing.

Responsibilities:
• Design and Develop Data Models and Algorithms: Create data models and algorithms from scratch to enhance data functionality and user interaction.
• Implement Data Solutions: Integrate off-the-shelf data solutions with existing business systems to improve overall performance.
• Manage Data Infrastructure: Oversee data flow and infrastructure to ensure effective data deployment and integration.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various teams to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
• Develop Prototypes: Create proof of concepts and prototypes for innovative data solutions.
• Stay Updated on Data Technologies: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in the field of data technology.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on data technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Minimum Previous Experience:
• Knowledge and understanding of data architecture.
• Experience with data implementation within a business context is advantageous.

Other Skills:
• A proven track record of contributing to research and/or open-source communities.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, sequence modeling, CNNs, RNNs, etc.
• Capable of selecting hardware and software that meet the resource and performance requirements for running data models.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, IBM Cloud, Azure, etc., is advantageous.
