Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Retail Sommelier to oversee daily operations and enhance our store's offerings with expert knowledge of wines and spirits. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the retail industry, with specific expertise in liquor, wines, and spirits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise the store floor to ensure efficient operations and superior customer service.

- Provide expert advice and recommendations on wines, spirits, and other beverages.

- Oversee staff performance, provide training, and create a positive work environment.

- Ensure proper stocking, merchandising, and presentation of products, with a focus on wines and spirits.

- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering and restocking, and ensure product quality.

- Conduct trade visits to stay updated on industry trends and expand product knowledge.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and store policies.

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail management role, with significant expertise in wines and spirits.

- Extensive knowledge of wines and alcoholic spirits, including current industry trends.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work Saturdays and maintain flexibility with work schedules.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
