Introduction
Our client , based in Durban South, is searching for an HR Manager to join their team. This is a contract role with a possible of perment employement. the client is in the manfacturing industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection
· Ensure and inspect that all Recruitment and Selection requirements are met and that all administrators are maintaining the information and training, in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
Training & Development
· Internship, Learnership & Bursary administration as per Seta requirements and Adherence to submission
dates.
· Ensure skills audits in Training Needs Analysis compiled.
· Manage Development plans.
· Ensure a Training Matrix and Training plan is in place and adhered to (inc. leadership skills and by
keeping succession in mind).
· Maintain Training administration on HR system as per Seta and BBBEE compliance requirements.
· Ensure divisional ATR & WSP complete.
· Achieve EE progress in line with legislation to achieve transformation.
· Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Performance Management
· Assist with Performance Management initiatives for area of responsibility.
· Clearly defined performance expectations linked to divisional objectives.
· Ensure clear annual performance agreements in place.
· Quarterly Performance feedback to be conducted.
· Management of poor performance.
· Conduct Audits to ensure compliance to PM procedures.
· Analyse performance management data to track trends.
· Manage attendance and absenteeism.
Employment Equity & BBBEE
· Alignment of EE and BBBEE guidelines and interventions as required by the business.
· Co-ordinate and conduct audit preparation for the Skills Development BBBEE element.
· Ensure audit and verification processes are maintained.
· Ensure the integrity of data and documentation of elements requirements.
· Assist with compilation and coordination of Submission of annual regulatory and compliance reports for EE and ATR/WSP
· Assist with EE Plan Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation and subsequent.
· Quarterly reporting.
· Assist with coordinating EE committee initiatives.
· Monitor transformation and BBBEE legislative changes and updates.
Employee/Labour Relations
· Advise managers on personnel management issues and employee disciplinary actions.
· Assist employees with resolution of grievances in consultation with line management.
· Assist in the investigate all disciplinary matters.
· Collaborate with management and RMI in respect to disciplinary management.
· Conduct meetings with shop stewards and employee representative.
· Conduct wage negotiations with COMPANY management and employees.
· Manage relationships with trade unions.
· Maintain compliance with labour laws and regulations.
Effective Human Resource Administration and Reporting
· Assist Executive HR with strategic objectives.
· Policy writing and implementation.
· Employment contracts, personnel files, all documentation for new and existing employees.
· Payroll input & support.
· Handle administration problems for all employees.
· Ensure all employees’ data is uploaded.
· Compile monthly human resources statistics.
· Attending to Internal Audit requirements Human Resources.
Admin
· Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
· Manage general security issues.
· General Maintenance in Cleaning of Offices, Canteen, Ablutions & Factory floor.
· Office and Building Maintenance.
· Source Ex Pat support
· Management Meeting
· Receive & send Courier.
· Source Ex Pat accommodation
· Book Visitors accommodation, Flight bookings for employees
· Supplier invoices.
· (external cleaning service provider).
· Others related in corporative administration.
· Maintains records, documentation, and files.
· Record Management: Electronic and paper filing systems are well maintained.
· Coordinating and overseeing regular building maintenance and repairs
· Negotiating and liaising with third-party service providers.
· Preparing budgets and monitoring costs
· SLAs
· Undertake regular building inspections, progress any required works.
· Supervising teams of staff including cleaning, and security.
· Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities.
· Manage stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
· Purchasing office supplies, equipment, and furniture
· Managing overall administrative activities for the office
· Air conditioning Services & maintenance
· Prepare budget.
· Company Cell phone accounts
· Company Vehicle Fuel usage & Service/Maintenance record.
· Monitor Paper Usage.
· Maintain admin assets.
IT
· IT – Software, Printers & pc., faults & PO’s.
· Troubleshoot problems with systems and programs.
· Maintain IT assets.
· Ensuring the company’s IT equipment (PC’s, laptops, WIFI) is up to date and functioning.
· Staying up to date with network technology and reporting this information to outsourced IT
· Adhoc IT/ admin activities that is subjected to Admin manager’s request
Desired Experience & Qualification
Desired experiences
4 plus years with HR experiences with BBBEE, IR and whole HR function.
Qualifications
a certificate/degree/honours in HR or relative field.
Package & Remuneration
R28 000 per month
