Purpose of Role
The Management Information Systems (MIS) team has a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Analyst.
The MIS team is responsible for providing business with the necessary information and key insights that allow them to make informed decisions regarding their operational and strategic initiatives.
As an MIS Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimising our organisation's use of information technology to enhance decision-making processes and overall efficiency.
Key Performance Indicators
• Generate reports and dashboards to present key performance indicators and facilitate data-driven decision-making;
• Assess and analyse the organisation's current information systems, processes, and data flows;
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their information needs and requirements;
• Design, develop, and implement efficient and effective MIS solutions to address business challenges;
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through regular audits and system enhancements;
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and configurations;
• Provide training and support to end-users on MIS applications and tools;
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MIS applications;
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to recommend innovative solutions; and
• Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify opportunities for system optimisation.
Minimum Requirements
Experience and Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant work experience is required; and
• Qlikview, Qliksense or any related business intelligence tool experience.
