Organics (Aquaponics) Farm Manager needed with experience in:
1. Daily Operations Management: Overseeing tasks like fish feeding, water quality monitoring, and equipment maintenance.
2. Staff Supervision: Hiring, training, and managing farm hands, technicians, and admin staff in line with company policies.
3. Budgeting and Finance: Creating and overseeing the farm's budget, managing expenses, and collaborating with the financial team.
4. Marketing and Sales: Leading marketing efforts, coordinating with sales staff, creating campaigns, and fostering customer relationships.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to environmental and animal welfare regulations.
6. Research and Development: Collaborating on innovative techniques to enhance farm efficiency and sustainability.
7. Building Planning: Overseeing building projects, including metal work, engineering, and wet work, and ensuring quality control.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Minimum two years of management or business experience on a farm.
- Proficiency in farm infrastructure development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and system improvement experience.
- Precision-oriented with expertise in animal care, feeding protocols, and logistics.
- Diverse skill set including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, and building planning.
- Preferably, experience in farm upbringing or prolonged work on a farm.
- Ability to support administrative tasks, maintain records, and collaborate with various teams.
