Introduction

Project Coordinators are responsible for assist in the preparation, reporting and analysis of assigned business projects under the supervision of a Project Manager. A Coordinator is accountable for maintaining project management procedures. This includes being knowledgeable in project goals, financial limitations and deadlines, in order for resources to best be allocated. Coordinating and scheduling company projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist Regional Project Manager with scheduling, planning, and coordinating operations daily, this includes refuelling, services due, recoveries of generators on site, dispatches of generators to site, Investigation of generators on site
• Corresponding and communicating with client and relevant stakeholders regarding job requests, operations update and SLA times management.
• Compiling and submitting all required reports to the clients and RPM (Incidents reports, daily reports, Job Log etc) and ensuring accuracy of the information captured
• Actively communicating with client on any requests received and follow up emails.
• Ensure and verify that all jobs are done with a job number issued and all supporting documents are completed and of no error.
• Ensure completeness and quality of the data capturing, verified information and ensuring there are no jobs skipped and all job
• Responsible for the shift schedule for the technicians and allocation of technicians
• Planning and issuing job cards looking at the routes for the teams
• Monitor the DSE system and alarms on generators
• Monitor and capturing of live data and checking and verifying quality of the supporting documents (Refuelling, Dispatches, Retrieval, Services, Investigation, Repairs) for all project tasks
• Assists in administrative functions of project-related assignments including overall planning, tracking and documentation of one or several projects from the project proposal phase to the project closeout.
• Provides admin support to the department and undertake any other ad hoc projects/duties assigned.
• Perform tasks necessary to keep a project running smoothly such as records keeping, resource coordination, scheduling and ensuring compliance with government and safety regulations.
• Assist the RPM with updates to the Project Coordination and schedules schedules.
• Sets up and manages support functions covering planning, tracking, reporting, quality management and internal communication.
• Maintaining project plans, project registration and project changes.
• Project Coordinator will support the Regional Project Manager in developement and reaching the teams goals and liasing with other managers, as well as inside and outside stakeholders
• Establishes standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including Issue, Risk, Change, and Information management
• Produces consolidated reporting to the Regional Project Manager

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Grade 12
• A bachelors degree in business administration or similar field
• Any further studies within Project Management or Coordination an advantage
• 1 - 2 years experience in similar role
