Introduction

Duties & Responsibilities
• Accountable for achieving results through other managers and their teams, over periods of 1-2 years.
• Assist the finance team in keeping accounting processes current and up to date - aligned to IFRS.
• Designing future fit remuneration and incentive models to achieve the strategic objective of personal finance supported by field research and market insights and ensuring legislative compliance.
• Implementing the entire adviser and management remuneration component for the personal finance channel segment.
• Help ensure that the incentive models assist in meeting the short and medium term goals of the channels.
• Regular analysis and reporting of how the rem and incentive payments compare to the
• expectations/models.
• Managing and reviewing financial modelling in line with overall channel economics and are supported by the income models.
• Regular and effective reporting on incentives and analysis/review of the return being achieved.
• Ongoing collaboration with various stakeholders across personal finance to align with the business strategy.
• Ensure good governance regarding the operation of the required remuneration committees.
• Incorporate the launch of new products/services into remuneration structures and processes.
• Identifies areas of the business where inefficiencies may occur and provide recommendations
• Assisting the business in conducting reward and incentive presentations, and addressing queries
• Delivering presentations tailored to meet the understanding of the target audience

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Relevant Degree
• Commercially minded
• Preferably has a proven track record/experience as a Remuneration/Reward Specialist or Manager
• Must be willing to do occasional travel within South Africa
• Min 5 years working experience
• Strong Analytical skills
• Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferable
