CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, Basic salary with commission.

Our client operates in the telecommunication industry and provides Cloud PBX and Connectivity solutions to our clients.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Sales Representative needs to sell, grow, and maintain the Company’s overall business within the market across their allocated region. The person must be motivated by targets and have a positive can-do attitude. Relationships building is key.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS

· Being a product expert and upskilling themselves.

· Travelling by car between prospective and current clients within the relevant region, selling the full Company product offering.

- Growing sales and exceeding targets

- Implement turnaround strategies for underperforming clients.

· Performing cost-benefit analyses and building strategies with management to drive business KPI’s and sales targets.

- Achieve monthly sales targets

- Achieve new prospect targets

- Achieve minimum quotation targets

· Being the point of contact between the Company and its prospective clients

- Identifying prospective clients

- Supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services, with a quick turnaround time on queries logged by clients.

- Educating and training clients

· Complete sale reports and submit documentation as required (i..e. weekly, monthly etc.)

· Ensure the culture and relationships are well maintained within the region (internally &

· externally).

QUALIFICATION, CORE COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Essential:

· Matric / Grade 12 .

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English essential; other languages are beneficial)

· At least 2 contactable references.

· 2-5 B2B years’ experience.

· Driver’s licence and own reliable transport - must have.

· Willingness to travel on request.

· SouthAfrican citizen.

· Clear criminal; credit and fraud record.

Beneficial:

· Experience within telecommunication industry.

· ICT experience would be beneficial.

REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS / PERSONAL QUALITIES:

· Energetic and enthusiastic.

· Dynamic, outgoing, proactive

· Brilliant selling skills.

· Target and performance driven.

· Building and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders.

· Intermediate Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

· Motivated and positive can-do- attitude

· Independent worker but able to work in a team.

· Able to handle and stay calm under pressure.
