Job Description

Contract Length/Duration: 6 months, with potential to extend

Please note: the successful candidate will work from the Woodmead area office at least 3 days per week.

Our client in the technology industry is seeking a talented Senior Manager of Digital Demand to join their team. The successful candidate will lead the digital marketing efforts and contribute to the growth of the organisation in the digital space. You will play a key role in developing and executing advanced digital demand generation strategies. This position requires a seasoned Digital Marketing professional with a proven track record in managing successful digital campaigns, driving engagement, and generating high-quality leads.

What you will do:
• Lead the development and execution of advanced digital demand generation strategies, emphasizing digital channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and other online tactics.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Sales and other departments, to align digital demand initiatives with overall business goals.
• Design and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns that leverage the latest trends and technologies to maximize reach and impact.
• Oversee the creation of compelling digital content, ensuring alignment with digital demand generation objectives.
• Utilise marketing technology, automation tools and analytics to optimise and measure the effectiveness of digital demand generation campaigns.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Stay abreast of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies and competitor activities to inform and enhance digital demand generation strategies.
• Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Sales teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving digital revenue targets.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience (8 - 10 years) in digital demand generation, with a focus on successfully managing complex digital campaigns.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams in the digital marketing space.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing best practices, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate digital data into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in the technology industry/sector is a plus.
• Preference will be given to candidates from Employment Equity (EE) and Affirmative Action (AA) backgrounds.
