Introduction
We're now accepting applications for the position of Senior UI/UX Designer who will be focussing on all aspects of digital product development and design across all of our client's digital channels. The The ideal candidate should have a passion for user-centered design, with an eye for detail and a willingness to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. As a Product Designer, you will play an integral role in developing the product design strategy, designing innovative user interfaces, and delivering exceptional user experiences that drive business goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify user needs, design goals, and product requirements
• Developing user personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes to inform design decisions and validate user flows
• Designing user interfaces and visual assets that align with brand guidelines and elevate the user experience
• Conducting user research and usability testing to iterate and improve upon designs
• Working closely with developers to ensure design fidelity and successful implementation
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and design patterns
• Executing overall User Experience strategy and obtaining organisational buy-in
• Driving delivery of projects to achieve User Experience business objectives
• Following the user-centred design approach in designing journeys across all digital channels
• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off with a mobile-first focus
• Establishing and promoting visual design guidelines, best practices, and standards within a broader cross-functional team
• Collaborating with team and working directly with developers to implement final design
• Conducting user testing on new and existing journeys
• Understanding customers’ needs through interviews and other research techniques, and using these insights to validate product concepts and inform design decisions
• Designing the future state of all digital channels with an omni-channel approach
• Conducting competitor reviews and research to inform strategy
• Continuously monitoring performance across the website and using these insights to inform design improvements
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Matric and relevant qualification in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Informatics, Human Computer Interaction or a similar field essential
• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or similar desirable
• Masters in Psychology or Social Sciences beneficial
• At least 8 years experience which includes user-centred design, interaction design, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping essential
• Extensive knowledge of Axure, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and mobile operating systems essential
• Experience in a Financial Services environment
