The role is accountable for the management of all digital content Vodacom’s retail store footprint as well as our digital catalogue and integration thereof into the Vodacom e-commerce platform ( The role will provide clear direction for digital marketing content relevant to these channels working in close coordination with the Online team, Digital Marketing, visual merchandising, retail operations and all business units within Vodacom that requires presence in our retail store footprint and our digital catalogue. Outputs includes monthly content calendars, agency relationship management, content design management, updates to product catalogue and merchandising of retails’ digital storefront to improve campaign performance and CMS control to drive improvement of overall brand and commercial goals within various business units. Plan and execute an integrated content calendar Steer execution of in-store digital content via relevant teams and drive hands-on implementation to ensure it meets the expected functionality and quality  Oversee and management of the retail Digital Signage Content Management System Product and deal information database maintenance Building and fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure overall brand and commercial goals within various business units are delivered onMatric essential A relevant 3-year bachelor’s degree or national diploma in marketing, advertising or related essential Digital Marketing related qualification (advantage) A minimum of 5 - 8 years relevant working  experience in marketing/ advertising environment (essential) with exposure to : At least 3 years’ experience in marketing technology platforms, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment Detailed hands-on experience in implementing, integrating and operating systems that incorporates content management systems and technology engagement capabilities Retail experience (advantageous) Exposure to and reasonable understanding of analytics software relevant to this role Proven track-record of driving projects and creating impact through pragmatic problem-solving Working with various business and technical teams to improve functionality and streamline content production and ingestion Capable of working in a complex matrix organisations, and able to troubleshoot, build strong relationships and credibility with multiple levels both internally and externally Closing date for applications: 16 September 2021The base location for this role is Midrand, Vodacom Campus The Company’s approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
