Role purpose: Support the Software Development department in implementing Security Controls as Standards, Policies, ensuring that security is part of the Agile Ways of Work. Contribute and Mature our Security and Privacy by Design Assurance Framework. Key accountabilities and decision ownership  • Ensures Security Standards are followed and is the security single point of contact for their Tribe • Coaches Squads and Tribes on Vodacom Security policy and implements security in all their activities and contributes actively on the continuous improvement of the Standards and Practices • Contributes for the Risk Management and report for the products and/or services • Contributes to integrate and automate security tools into the squad workflow • Review and identification of common security mistakes and areas of improvement Core competencies, knowledge, and experience • Experience with coding • Notion of security culture in software development environments • Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills, across various levels; Must have technical / professional qualifications • Relevant diploma or degree in Information Systems Technology. • Agile Certification (is a must) Key performance indicators • Risks in the development of new products • Zero (0) security incidents or data breach from In House developed products
